Countering the Mass Shooter Threat

Service Description

It is a noteworthy fact, that Eugene (Geno) has successfully thwarted a planned Mass Shoot of a Michigan public school when and where he was the grades 7-12 principal. This course is where academic meets action. This course focuses on the research findings from Michael Martin's 3-year investigation of the 48 mass shootings since the Columbine tragedy. In part 1, students learn to identify the telltale signs telegraphed by mass shooters. In part 2, students develop an individualized plan to protect themselves and others. The course is based on Martin's outstanding textbook, "Countering the Mass Shooter Threat". These courses are scheduled for a day, time and location of the students' request.
