Service Description

Dynamic Defensive Shooting (Pistol) courses are the best showing as to why I have purchased SIRT Laser Pistols for integrated training. For those who are unfamiliar with SIRT, I will simply state that my investment in each SIRT Laser Pistol, costs me as-much-as a real pistol. It is a very serious financial investment, that I gladly and wisely made, in the interest of student safety, and student self-confidence. First, the SIRT pistol is perfect for demonstrating one’s base level of safety, and thus assure that the student is following the 4 safety rules. Second, and of equal importance, the SIRT pistol allows the student to demonstrate their ability to safely move and shoot. After a very quick demonstrating their proper handling of a SIRT, the student can advance onto their selected instruction level: Dynamic Basic, Dynamic Intermediate, or Dynamic Advanced. As a very simple, introductory, Dynamic Basic example, a student will draw their concealed weapon, as they move off-the-line. They will advance to concealment, as they present their handgun into a low-ready position. Next steps will include, for example, pressing into a shoot-position, in preparation to acquire a left target, followed by a right target both from concealment. Secondary to neutralizing the two targets, the student will move to cover while laying-down the needed number of rounds to defeat additional threat(s). At a point of cover, the student will need to determine a best course of action to engage unknown targets. The student will determine if they need to fire over, under, around left, around right, and/or even through the barrier. The student needs to determine a best-course of action as to engaging targets via point-shooting, or sighted shooting. Students will set their own pace, that being to move as swiftly as they can safely move, while maintaining 80% defensive-shooting hits into a 9” target. At the point a student drops below 80% hits, they need to assess, and self-correct. Dynamic shooting is a balance of speed and accuracy. As the student’s ability increases, so can the sophistication, distance and number of targets. These courses are scheduled for a day, time and location of the students' request. The instructor travels to the students' venue for their comfort. Contact the instructor by email at Concentric_Lines_Defense@protonmail.com to request a course. Once a course has been requested, it will be posted on the USCCA website for students to enroll.
